It was raining outside when I got up early in the morning. Its too bad, I had to go to school by bus. I said to myself. It was almost seven oclock before I left home. I put on my raincoat and ran to the bus stop in a hurry, for I thought a lot of people might be waiting there. Hardly had I got there when a bus was coming.
I got on the bus immediately, hoping it was possible for me to take a seat. I saw an empty seat and took it. But I found an old lady standing behind me. I stood up at once and was about to ask her to take the seat when a young girl in a modern skirt made a dive for it. I could hardly believe it. I glared at her, thinking“What bad manners! She cares for nobody but herself. Wont she grow old in the future?”

Whatever a man’s status is (may be), he must have an aim. If not, he can hardly stand on his own two feet in the world. That stands to reason.However important fame and wealth may be, we must not let them become our object in life. We should aim at doing something useful to the society.If my aim can come true, I hope (wish) to be a teacher. However, teaching is by no means an easy thing. I must apply myself closely to my studies so as to be able to cope with my duties (as a teacher).

My name is Li Hua. I was born in Dalian, Liaoning province in February 1977. I started school in 1984 when I was seven. I studied in Guangming Primary School from 1984 to 1990. After that I went to No.62 Middle School of Dalian and graduated this summer. The main subjects I studied at school included Chinese, maths, English, physics, chemistry and computer. I like English and computer best and I am very good at them. Last year I won first prize in the school computer competition. In my spare time I enjoy listening to popular music and collecting stamps. My favorite sports are swimming in summer and skating in winter.

This morning, I skipped to the "hot spring 1" resort in tangshan to report that I had to work to earn money. Can you be unhappy? I thought I could be on duty that day, but I didnt expect to have three etiquette training.
The training began. It is good to just stand in step, hands overlapped in the navel, face with a smile, see the guests say: hello, welcome to your arrival. Isnt that easy? Its a piece of cake! However, it is too abnormal to take our foreman! Lets laugh for half an hour, and let people live? My facial muscles are probably stiff! I didnt expect the training to be so bitter, I kind of want to back out.

This afternoon, I was often absent-minded in class, for I was thinking of the film "The Sound of Music", which would be shown at 7 p.m. on the school playground.
As soon as class was over, I hurried out of the classroom.
On the way home I saw a little child standing by the roadside crying. Obviously, he had lost his way. Forgetting all about the film, I went up to him and asked him to tell me whatever he knew about his family.
It took me nearly an hour to send him home. His parents were very glad to find their lost child back and thanked me again and again.
I missed the film. But I felt happy.

We start atseven o’clock in the morning. It took us half an hour to get to thedestination.
The moment we arrived, we began to work as arranged before.
Some dugholes, some put trees in the hole, some put the earth back to the hole, whileothers watered the trees.
When we planted all the trees, it’s already one o’clockin the afternoon. We were all hungry and tired but happy and proud.

Now matter how far we go, it takes only a short time. With the development of science and technology, we can travel to the moon, Mars or somewhere outer space. People may can live in other planets. The second word is convenient. Because of the fast development of our society, many work can be done by computers or even robots. Lots of things are fully automated. Humans just need to give some simple instructions to complete complecated tasks.
