With the general standard of living improving and the working week becoming shorter， more and more people are able to make a holiday trip to places of interest. While many like to join package tours fro convenience， I prefer to travel on my own.
I like travelling on may own not only because it costs much less but because it gives a great degree of independence and freedom. Travelling on my own， I’m my own boss； and can decide when to start on my way， where to linger a little longer and which spot can be skipped over to save energy or time for another spot. I can always adjust my plan. On the contrary， in a package tour you‘re deprived of as much freedom as in a military base. At the sound of the whistle， you have to jump up from a sound sleep and， with heavy-lidded eyes，， hurry to the gathering place where you are collected and counted to board a coach. At the sight of the little flag waving， you must immediately take yourself away from the scenes you are marveling at and follow the guide whose sole interest is to cover all spots according to him strict schedule， regardless of the weather or your health condition.
True，you may encounter inconveniences if you travel inpidually，for instance， getting accommodations for the night and finding a place for meals. But nothing can be compared with the freedom which is vital to a person who takes a holiday trip mainly to escape from constraints of his routine life.

第一，词汇量要充足。
词汇量多少很大程度上决定作文是否能写得下去，很多时候想到一个很好的句子或文字，但一下子词汇不记得了，导致无从下笔。词汇量不足的学生，要在接下来的时间里重点抓单词记忆。在记忆单词时要讲究方式方法，合理利用记忆规律。
第二，审题要充分。
很多同学在写英语作文时，普遍存在这样一个情况：看完作文题，就开始写，想到哪写到哪，只要把字数凑够了就停笔了。这样写出来的文章，看起来就像 在记流水帐，没有任何逻辑，杂乱无章，毫无条理，同时容易出现用错时态、用错格式等的情况。因此，仔细审题和构思就成了写作的第一步。审题的重点放在写作体裁、格式、字数方面，确保第一遍审题就能保证得到基本分。同时还要文体和时 态，因为不同的文体要求的`写作格式也是不同的，时态的要求也非常重要。
第三，提纲要详细。
审完题后一定要列提纲。很多同学认为，中考英语作文译成中文，最多是小学二年级的语文作文水平，所以根本没有必要列提纲。其实，这种想法是非常错误的， 因为提纲不仅能使文章的结构清晰，还有很重要的一点：防止漏掉作文内容。因为中考英语作文有一个很重要的要求：要点要全。如果你漏掉了需要写的内容，即使文章写得再优美，用词再准确，也拿不了高分。最后要注意打草稿，然后修改。这样可以保证错误降低至最少或者没有错误，同时也能保持卷面整洁。
第四，文化差异要注意。
我们要时刻牢记一点，中英文表达方式有很大的差异，所以体现在作文表达上也常常会出现生硬的中国式作文表达，降低了我们的作文质量。所以注重中英语言差异，并努力找到两者之间的表达方式上的共通点，并且有意识的运用就能避免类似的问题。
最后，细节错误要摒弃。
很多孩子在写作文时常常感觉写得非常好，用上了几个高级句型或者不错的词汇短语，以为可以得高分，但最终结果出来后却与预想差距很大。主要的原因是很多细节没有注意。比如第三人称单数，名词的单复数，大小写，甚至标点、书写、段落安排等，这些细节问题也很重要。

Low-carbon life is good for everyone. To help with the environment, I always walk or ride a bike to school instead of taking a car. Besides, I will try to use things that can be recycled and I never forget to turn off the lights when I leave the classroom. I think it’s my duty to live a low-carbon life. And even the simplest activities can make a real difference to the environment. So I suggest we should reuse books as long as possible. And we’d better not spend much money on expensive clothes. If everyone does something for the environment, I believe the earth will be a better place.

With more and more cars coming into our families, we are happy that it has greatly improved our life. But unluckily, it has also brought many problems, such as heavy traffic and traffic accidents.
Traffic safety is everybody's business. We must obey the rules.
For example, we must walk on walk side, when we cross zebra – crossing, stop and look right and left, then go across fast. Don’t play football on the road .we can tell our parents not to drink before they drive, not to run through red lights, not to talk and laugh while driving etc.
We can say cars are coming into our life, but only when everybody thinks traffic safety is everybody's business can we be safe driving on roads and walking on sidewalks.

English is important and useful to us. How can we learn it well? Here are my suggestions.
First, we should often listen to the tapes, English songs and programs. Watching English movies is also helpful to us. Second, we should speak English in class as much as possible. Don’t be afraid of making mistakes. The more you speak, the fewer mistakes you’ll make. We'd better join the English club and practice with others. Third, we can read more English newspapers and magazines. It’s good for us. At last, we should recite some good passages and keep diaries.
In a word, as long as we do more listening, speaking, reading and writing, we will learn English well.

We shouldn’t throw away rubbish everywhere. We want to recycle(回收), reduce(减少), reuse(再利用) things . Don’t waste things ,This saves money and reduces pollution. Use things for as long as possible.
